This project was part of a larger research and development effort investigating what sort of use cases and applications JPL might have that could utilize large language models (LLMs).
The Solution:
Christiahn worked on the UI/UX design for a conceptual AR (Augmented Reality) 3D slide presentation software that would use natural language input to accomplish complex user inputs with ease. He explored potential JPL use cases for this complex input such as generating a swath map for a satellite orbiter project.
Working together with software engineers, they developed proof of concept functional prototypes that gained the interest of other groups within JPL who wanted to incorporate this type of natural language input into their software projects.
